Seinging is a step in the carpet manufacturing process that involves burning the protruding fibers on the back of the carpet.
The carpet manufacturing process includes several steps, such as:
Designing: The pattern is the most important characteristic of a carpet.
Raw washing: The carpet is washed to remove dust, dirt, and stains.
Shearing: The piles are cut to level them.
Side binding: The sides of the carpet are bound with a thick thread.
Seinging: The protruding fibers on the backside of the carpet are burned.
